The Winter weather is still hitting the UK hard, and I’m making sure that my holiday next year is as far as possible from snowy conditions. As winter in the UK has proved to be so unpredictable regarding the weather, I’m giving up on the prospect of attempting a Christmas holiday and ensuring I get a nice sunny, summer one instead.
Orlando holidays provide a great range of options for a tourist as there are lots of attractions in that area. You can take the children for a dream holiday to Disney World, take in a few of the parks yourself, or simply enjoy the leisure facilities that are located at the accommodation resorts in the area. As well as Disney, there are other theme parks that offer tours and attractions in addition to white-knuckle roller coaster rides.
The recent airport chaos may make you think twice about flights to Orlando, but in the spring & summer months they tend to run like clockwork, and even during the winter snow many of the major airlines are still able to get a scheduled service running. You will always have several airport destination options once you are in the air, and the transfer network in the US is much better at getting you to where you need to be to start your vacation. Plus, you can count on the weather in Florida being about 20 degrees, so you can forget about the wind and snow and start concentrating instead on your sun tan.
A fly drive holiday will give you the flexibility to take a detour from the usual tourist options, stopping off at anyplace that takes your fancy or letting you roam further through the area. Another good option for a truly memorable holiday is getting a cruise from Miami after you have finished sightseeing in Orlando, turning fly drives into luxury holidays Caribbean style, with long or short cruises around the Caribbean islands to complete a magical holiday. With the sunshine state as your base, you can’t go wrong whatever additional travel options you decide on, and will return to the UK well-prepared for another bout of miserable weather with your happy holiday memories.
